Boys' Academy Day Camp

2009 Boys Academy Day July 20-24 10-14yrs $300

 The camp is designed to give aspiring players an opportunity to develop their technical ability. Tactical sessions are offered, but the emphasis is on ball mastery and creativity in a competitive environment. Daily sessions are supplemented with small sided games building to the 11 v 11 game. 

During the afternoon, coaches will also have time to meet with their teams to prepare them for their daily matches. Players will have use of the pool during rest and recovery time. 

The Academy Day Camp runs from 9am-4pm.

 Elite Residential Camp

Boys Elite Residential July 26-29 15-18yrs $495 $365 Extended day (9am-8pm)

Girls Elite Residential Aug   2-5        15-18yrs $495 $365 Extended day (9am-8pm)

The Elite Academy is for the serious player looking to play collegiate soccer. The curriculum is advanced and players will experience excellent collegiate and professional coaches. The camp is designed to give dedicated players an opportunity to improve their technical and tactical abilities in competitive practice and game situations. Morning sessions at the Academy begin with a fast foot work and flexibility warm-up, followed by technical work, and finish with small-sided competitive matches. After lunch, the afternoon will be devoted to tactical development, learning to play within a team structure, building up to 11 v 11 throughout the week. Ball mastery and creativity are stressed at all times. 

During the afternoon, coaches will also have time to meet with their teams to prepare them for their nightly soccer matches. The evening will consist of matches, followed by meetings to review individual and team performances. Following the meetings, there will be nightly lectures on various aspects of the game.

Boys' Elite Camp Director is Julian Richens, Rider Men's Soccer Assistant Coach.   Girls' Elite Camp Director is Drayson Hounsome, Rider Women's Head Coach.
