Athletic Fields
Rider’s outdoor athletic facilities include 9 full size grass practice fields for soccer, two multi-purpose, lighted courts located adjacent to Alumni Gymnasium and six tennis courts located behind the Maurer physical education building. The varsity soccer, field hockey, baseball and softball fields and the 400-meter track complex are located in the fields west of the main campus area.

Student Recreation Center

The 42,000 sq ft facility includes locker rooms, a 3,600 square foot fitness room with cardiovascular and strength training equipment, a fitness assessment room, two group-exercise studios, three multi-purpose courts for basketball, tennis, and volleyball, 3-lane elevated track, and game room, now located in the SRC lobby, with three pool tables, a ping pong and air hockey table, and video stations for Wii, X-box and PlayStation games. 

      



SRC Pool


The Coppola Pool features a competitive swimming course of six lanes, 25 yards, and diving facilities including one and three-meter boards located over 14 feet of water. There are permanent locker room facilities for Rider's men's and women's teams and offices housing members of the coaching staff. The spectator gallery has permanent seating for 500 spectator and a six-line Colorado Timing System scoreboard. The Maurer Building also houses the student-athlete strength and conditioning center, a multi-exercise facility where the swimming & diving teams conduct dry and and strength training portions of their programs
